COMING SUMMER 2011

Still working on this. It's coming. Promise.
Download the first single. It's been getting great feedback online which gives me even more motivation to knock the rest of this album out before summer.

ADVENTURES IN SLUMBERLAND [ALT. COVERS]

I'm super indecisive, so for all my albums, I have more than one cover. This one I just happened to have 4 for, but I think the most I have is 5. It can get out of hand. Anyways, I figured I might as well just post them so you can use whatever one you like most.

The one up top is the primary cover, the ones below are alternatives. Enjoy.

[ALBUM] CHASING STARS - ADVENTURES IN SLUMBERLAND

Words can't describe how happy I am to have finally finished this album. Since I started this whole music thing a few years ago, I've always been really spoiled creatively. I've never had a problem creating things I was happy with, in a time frame I was happy with. My last album was completed in a total of 27 days.

I started this album in November, and 2 tracks in, I was completely stuck. I had an idea in my head of the emotion I wanted to convey, but the execution wasn't there. I couldn't find the right sound to give me the feeling the album needed, so I stopped working. About 3 months passed with nothing happening but a few lackluster demos that didn't even make this final version. Finally about 3 or 4 days ago, something clicked. I was listening to Kanye, and I heard the sound I needed. Ironically the elusive sound only appears on this album for about 20 seconds, but it got me past that creative road block, and the rest of the album fell into place in a few days.

This is definitely my most obscure album. I'm not making this one to be understood, simply to be heard. So, if you listen, thank you. I truly do appreciate it. It's also my shortest album. The events that inspired my last album were so astronomical compared to the events that inspired this. I had much less to say before I was freed of the the thoughts that needed out of my head.

Thanks to my cousin Cameron Morris who did that awesome feature on Simulated Minds that was accidently exactly what the album needed, and for the awesome saxophone piece on Slumberland. This album would be a shell without him.

I'll quit the jabbering. Listen/download the album below. I can't wait to get started on the next one.

Note: The album was inspired in part by one of the greatest children movies of all time. Watch Little Nemo and try not to have your imagination go crazy.
